HAIR GOALS CHALLENGE WEEK #2 JAN 10th 2021

So have you been sticking to it Curlfriends? Whether your hair goal is hair growth, moisture or better curls, consistency is important.

Get in the habit of journaling your progress. You ever notice when you start a new diet you are encouraged to write down what you are eating and to create a meal plan? This same method will work for your hair goals too.

Journaling helps you to stay consistent, accountable and it will also help you to see things in your regimen that may need to be adjusted.

If you messed up or slacked on your goals this first week, don’t stress about it. The key is to keep going even if you make mistakes and stick to the plan.

      Here is a sample regimen (adjust it to suit your needs and hair goals)

      • Wear two strand twists or a bun for 1 week.
      • Moisturize hair nightly with water or a water based moisturizer.
      • At the end of the week shampoo and condition.
      • Moisturize with a leave in conditioner, butter or oil and a creamy product, then style.

      This week my goal is to consistently use my spray bottle on my daughter and I’s hair every night for more moisturized hair and document progress in my Naturally You Hair Journal. What’s your goal for this week? What small action item can you commit to?

          Week 2 #Hairgoals
          This week my hair feels a little softer after making sure I oil my scalp every other day. Still shedding pretty bad though.

          Hello Everyone,
          My hair goals for this year is to have healthier hair, which hopefully leads to growth. I’m not very good at taking care of my hair even though I think I’m doing a good job, my hair is still brittle, shedding, & NOT GROWING AT ALL!! Hopefully 2021 will be better for me. I’m excited to start this journey. Also, I want to learn how to braid and do different styles. My girlfriend is going to be the guinea pig for me. Here’s my beginning pic:

        3. Hi everyone! My hair goal is to have more consistently moisturized hair for my daughter and I. I am going to achieve this by making sure I give our hair better night time care. I will set a small goal of using a continuous mist spray bottle filled with water every night and making sure our hair is twisted before going to bed.
