HAIR GOALS CHALLENGE WEEK #3 JAN 18th 2021

Let’s identify barriers that get in the way of us reaching our hair goals.

My personal barrier is that I am lazy natural. When it’s time for me to go to sleep I don’t want to prep, I just want to lay down and pass out. But the reality is going to bed with out moisturizing and prepping my hair, this leads to tangles and breakage.

So to avoid the damage, I am making it easy on myself. I am keeping my spray bottle and bonnet right on my night table so there’s no excuse for me not to take care of my hair.

What are you doing to avoid achieving your hair goals? How have you been doing with your consistency?

If you haven’t already make sure you sign up to Curlfriend Text. You must be on Curlfriend Text and actively participate in our hair goals challenge in order to be entered in the raffle for a $100 visa gift card + a full set of Reclaim Your Crown Hair Products.

HAIR GOALS CHALLENGE WEEK #2 JAN 10th 2021

So have you been sticking to it Curlfriends? Whether your hair goal is hair growth, moisture or better curls, consistency is important.

Get in the habit of journaling your progress. You ever notice when you start a new diet you are encouraged to write down what you are eating and to create a meal plan? This same method will work for your hair goals too.

Journaling helps you to stay consistent, accountable and it will also help you to see things in your regimen that may need to be adjusted.

If you messed up or slacked on your goals this first week, don’t stress about it. The key is to keep going even if you make mistakes and stick to the plan.

Week 4: I want to say thank you so much for this hair challenge that you created!! These last 4 weeks have been a journey for me and my hair for sure. Even though I had little growth, my hair does feel more moisturized and more healthier overall. Even though I have a long way to go, I feel that I will achieve my goals if I stay persistent and consistent in my journey. Again, thank you for this hair journey you have started me on.

A few of my barriers are time. Between working full time, going to school full time, and raising 2 teenagers I’m exhausted by the and of the day. I have tried to start moisturizing my hair after dinner though to spare my time before bed. So far so good. I Want to have healthy, growing, strong hair by the end of this journey. I’m being consistant and persistent!!
